How we do it
We listen to your Goals:
Let’s start you off on the right foot, we take the time to listen to your specific running goal. Whether you’re re-engaging with running following a hiatus, seeking a lifestyle transformation, recuperating from surgery, aiming to participate in your inaugural fun run, or an experienced runner aspiring for enhanced performance. We at human repair shop are here to listen to you, so we can give you a road map for your success.
Physiotherapy Assessment:
Then your physiotherapist conducts a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment of your medical history, including any injuries, surgeries, or neurological conditions that may impact your running gait.
Treadmill Running Gait Analysis:
We use a combination of video gait technology analysis and physiotherapy biomechanical assessment. Assessing for muscle weakness, restriction or imbalances that could be hampering your performance or creating injury. Video running analysis will measure parameters such as step length, stride length, step width, cadence (steps per minute), and stance/swing phases. Giving you a complete assessment to get you running right again.
Put together a Plan:
Once our physiotherapist interprets your running gait analysis and biomechanical assessment we can develop a targeted treatment plan. We use a combination of:
- Physiotherapy treatment to treat any muscular or joint issues.
- Physio led Pilates core strengthening exercises to correct any muscle imbalances
No need to bring in any x-rays, CT scans or MRI’s , with your permission we can access them for you electronically. Making your visit stress free.
We accept all major health funds so you are not out of pocket.
